I recently upgraded to an SSD after having a HDD due to the fact Warhammer 3 was taking so long to load. The SSD is a Samsung 860 EVO 2 TB SATA 2.5 Inch Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-76E2T0) from Amazon, it's an external one since I am terrible with computers so I didn't want to mess anything up. I thought in getting this my game(s) would load way quicker due to my friend having the same one and loading into everything very fast, but the time difference in loading is barely faster then when I had my HDD.
I am trying to play Immortal Empires, I have tried lowering settings, uninstalling and reinstalling, no mods or anything it didn't help really.
Thanks for raising this up to us. Unfortunately, by making the SSD an external drive it is actually limiting the speed severely as is using the speed of the USB connection, and then the SSD. For optimal usage, please connect internally. Provided it is formatted already & in use, it should just be a case of connecting it up internally as it is an internal drive however your mileage may vary based on your PC hardware
All the best, Liam
