Mydas makes the most sense, he was the poster boy hero in DoW. And Asarnil would be a lot more interesting as a very very supped up RoR
Mydas actually works very well as a LH... if Paymasters are implemented as a hero type. I'm actually curious how CA handle it. It sounds awkward but having a unit you have to 'protect' effectively would be very unique for the DoW playstyle.
Paymasters with a Pay chest cart as a mount would be awesome.

I don't see a world where we get DoW without Paymasters tbh, they're the one constant between every possible iteration of DoW, and one of the three core hero choices.
