I understand sometimes this is something you can easily not notice so it might not have been seen by them, but I have seen it across different maps everywhere, I can't give exact locations cause I don't know the maps off the back of my head but I do know there is a lot of things like this.

    Its intended dawi are bad at building
    And my opinion is not influenced by astragoths official narrative

    That gameplay is modded. Try it again without mods and bring the same screenshots then. I don't know if it has something to do with the mods or not, but CA won't look into it with a modded version.

    The building is exactly where it should be, it's these damned skaven who are digging below it. They are everywhere

    Yeah, the battle maps of WH3 are just plain bad. The floating buildings on a number of them are just one part of that.
    You also have the obvious repeating textures and all of the other hallmarks of a bad map editor and a bad/rushed builder.

    That is true for all of their maps, apart from the few showcase ones used for promotion material.

    Ah, legitimately didn't even see that, thanks for the heads up.

    I don't know that I ever would've seen this during normal gameplay, as I'm almost never at ground-height, myself, but sure, they could adjust the building back down, or move the dirt in that area up.

    I have started to see it in other maps too, or just a bridge that leads nowhere in a bretonnian map, and in the phoenix gate there is a door that is halfway in the mountain, I love this game, and they do make great maps, from afar.

    Question is if Map designers were involved making those maps. Sadly, this is becomming a trend now, maps are being made automatically by AI and the like. And these mistakes might be a byproduct of this.. however I cannot be sure.

    But a Human map designer can easily spot these problems, thats why I have a creeping feeling these maps are made by something else than a Human Map designer. On the other hand I have noticed that several things in the CA engine for warhammer (It's map making toolset) things seem automated. You can Paint Forests, which then automatically renders trees amd bushes on the ground. As opposed to the toolset I am used too (NWN2) where every tree needs to be manually placed. Time consuming, but there is more control over problems like Floating buildings or Floating Speedtree trees.

    Human Map Builders should always be preferred over any Algoryhim / AI and all that.

    Dawi are amazing builders - if you can figure out how to get floating buildings without magic more power to you... :D
