There is a great issue in totalwar warhammer 3 that causes hero's in the game to have too many left over skill points. I would like to make a small suggestion to help this, obviously by adding new skills, with an emphasis on buffing units you recruit from your allies, as they don't get any buffs outside of their ranks, however there are some normal skills as well. Obviously these are hard to balance as "doom stacks" are a thing and sometimes you can get pretty broken armies, that being said, people who make doom stacks are rare and the vast majority of us use a varied and balanced army, and as such, "doom stacks" should not be taken into account. These skills are as follows:
(Melee specialists) total adding 6 more nodes to purchase with skill points
-1 Skill, 3 levels: +attack/defence for "Allied recruited" units by values of (3/6/9)
--1 Skill, 3 levels but locks next skill: +attack of all nearby allied units in an aoe by values of (3/6/9)
--1 Skill, 3 levels but locks previous skill: +defence of all nearby allied units in an aoe by values of (3/6/9)
(Missile specialists) total adding 7 more nodes to purchase with skill points
-1 Skill, 3 levels: +missile damage for "Allied recruited" units by values of (5%/8%/10%)
--1 Skill, 3 levels but locks next skill: + accuracy of all nearby allied units in an aoe by values of (3/6/9)
--1 Skill, 3 levels but locks previous skill: + missile damage of all nearby allied units in an aoe by values of (5%/8%/10%)
---1 Skill, 1 Level: Restock ability, pretty generic, some factions have this, just a copy and paste.
(Magic Specialists) total adding 6 more nodes to purchase with skill points
-1 Skill, 3 levels: + weapon damage for units army wide, by values of (5%/8%/10%)
--1 Skill, 3 levels but locks next skill: + magic resistance for nearby units, by values of (5%/8%/10%)
--1 Skill, 3 levels but locks previous skill: + missile resistance for nearby units, by values of (5%/8%/10%)
