So I took a long look at the map that just got released, thanks again it's amazing.
I went around everywhere and I found all of the wonders in the entire game.
Let's start with the original 7 wonders of the ancient world, and then the rest all around the map.
Colossus of Rhodes-Owned by Rhodes
Olympia (Statue of Zeus)-Owned by Sparta
Mausoleum of Mausolus (Mausoleum of Halicarnassus)-Owned by Ephesus
Pharos of Alexandria (Lighthouse of Alexandria)-Owned by Egypt
Necropolis of Giza (Great Pyramids of Giza)-Owned by Egypt
Babylon (Hanging Gardens of Babylon)-Owned by Seleucid Empire
I could not find the Temple of Artemis EXPLAIN CA!
Now for all the other wonders in the map
Stonehenge-Owned by Iska
Pillars of Hercules-Owned by Nova Carthago
Mount Etna-Owned by Syracuse
Sanctuary of the Great Gods-Owned by Macedon
Bam Citadel-Owned by Persis
Mount Behistun-Owned by Media Atropatene
Mount Damavand-Owned by Parthava
Necropolis of Rostam-Owned by Persis
Oracle of Amun-Re-Owned by Cyrenaica
Mount Vesuvius-Owned by Rome
Karnag-Owned by Namnetes
Mount Argaeus-Owned by Cappadocia
Mount Olympus-Owned by Epirus

So that's all of them. In total there are 19 wonders all across the map, 20 if the Temple of Artemis is in the game.
Now we just need to know what they all do as in bonuses.

Great job Attero - fast sleuthing! Thank you. Egypt looks like its ahead in the Wonder race, but then I guess we knew that. Greece, collectively, does pretty well also.

    First thought:

Why does practically every faction have a wonder somewhere in or around it's borders except the Suebi?

They make Mountains wonders (?), Karnag is in, Stonehenge is in. Why not the Irminsul?
Just ignoring the Germanic cultural centres?

Really CA? I was happy when you stated that not only the classical wonders would be in ... any reason or something like that?

The Temple of Artemis may be attached to Ephesus as that is both its location and the settlement, could be a building in the city.

There are many Irminsul and there not mentioned until 50AD +, unfortunately no one wrote much about the Germanic culture and little is left.

Apparently the Parthenon was not considered a wonder back then?

We can't have everything of course, but when CA has included mountains or volcanoes as wonders, the absence of the Parthenon raises an eyebrow.

Oh, and Attero, thank you ever so much for compiling this list. Great job! :)

The most famous one stood near Eresburg and we know it was a most important place for the pagans for centuries. It would by far not the biggest guess CA would make in their game, as they sometimes blatantly go against history, to assume it was around in R2's timeframe.

And if for some reason now of all topics it's extremely important to be pendantic about it; we have mountains of cultural / religious importance in Germany too.
Like the Brocken or the Kyffhäuser.

Just leaving everything out in this huge area of the map is not really what I'd call decentralizing the Rome experience. What about immersion? What about gameplay? Sorry, I don't want to rant but I'm really quite disappointed to be honest.

That is alot of wonders... not sure if I like that or not. Guess we'll have to see actually what effect they will have in game.

As I said earlier I expect more buildings to be in settlements that are similar to wonders, with bonuses etc. That would explain why there is no Temple of Artemis or Parthenon.

That's a pretty smart guess! I hope you are right about that, but for some reason I feel that it was left out for a reason.

It's in as a unique building for Athens, at least if the Acropolis is close enough to the Parthenon for out purposes.
From the Steam description of the Greek Culture Pack:

    "Acropolis – [Unique to Athens]

A symbol of Athenian high culture and engineering excellence, The Acropolis also provides extra garrison forces to Athens, improves the city’s abilities to withstand sieges, and increases Athenian agents’ Authority actions."

In my opinion the harbour of Carthage should be a wonder, too.
My Top wishes for Rome 2:
    - Unit DLC: Pontus (needs Galatians) / Steppe tribes / Baktria (needs Indians) / Odrysian Kingdom / Armenia
    - Faction DLC: Cherusci, Helvetii,
    - Diplomacy/Clients: "annexing"-, "bribing-", "making peace with"- and "exchanging regions"-option
    - Depth/Features: family tree, deeper internal politics, ingame videos, historical events, late-game-tasks
    - UI: Bad! Fix skill and tech trees and make more atmosphere!
    - Fix sieges & blobbing and nerf agents!

something I noticed is that the province capitals don't have resources, they're all in 'outlying' regions. The wonders are classed as a type of resource; Ephesus is a province capital, therefore, it doesn't get any resources (including wonders). Also, Ephesus is VERY close to Halicarnassus, so I think it helps to spread them out a bit.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Temple of Artemis show up as a unique building in the city, though.
