Rome 2 Prologue is too long!

I can't deny I have been some what deceived by the epically long Prologue Rome II put's you through. After 6 hours of game time according to Steam at least, I thought i was making good head way into my very first campaign as the mighty Roman Empire, only to discover I had merely completed the prologue and had to start over again!

I was a little dis-heartened and did consider simply walking away from the game!.

Has anyone else been deceived by Rome II agonisingly long prologue this way?

Safe to say the great multiplayer and Historic battles have kept me playing!

I only took me 3 hours. And I thought I was a slow player.

I disagree. I think it's just fine, maybe even a little too short. It teaches you quite a lot about how the game works (which is just as well, as there is no comprehensive manual for the game).

Prologue is the only good part about this game ! I just wish it was longer so I didn't had to see the fail of the main campaign and multi player !

It took me like 2 1/2 hours to complete the prologue.

Took me 3-4, I don't think it was long or short, just enough. It's not like they didn't point out that it was simply a prologue- you could just quit and start a campaign whenever you wanted to. Don't see the problem to be honest

Thats not a long prologue, they did a good job with it I thought.. I kinda wish they would have had a prologue for each faction you planned on playing, just so you could used to the faction you wanted to play more than any other, oh well, good job none-the-less..
