What MP do you want for a TW game?

Hey guys,

we all know that Rome 2 and Attila are really bare-bones compared to Shogun 2 when it comes to MP features. So my question is what features would you like in a TW game?

I'm talking about things like the avatar campaign, player progress, customization, clan play, FFA etc. Anything that comes to mind. Maybe you've seen something in other games that you'd like implemented or something completely different.

Edit: Title was supposed to be 'What MP features ...'. Would be nice if a mod could correct that.

    avatar, just with a bit more thought into how retainers work, to much of the time it came down to luck if you had that retainer that you needed to use x army.

    FFA would be nice but is kinda a insignificant for me, its fun but it alone isn't truly enough to make the game better.

    I would like to see upgrades for armour and weapon dammage.
    The option for maps with key buildings like shogun 2.
    Soft cap to the units.
    Im against anything that favors players that have more time to play than others. Like the more you play, or pay, in that matter, stronger your units and gens become. That would be a game breaker for me.
    Very short campaigns like conquering one entire province or so, for 4 to 6 players, maybe more. Of course this would only work with dedicated servers.
    I know this wasn´t your question but still: BETTER UNIT BALANCE.

    1)Totally unit balance ,later factin balance
    2) Avatar. If ranking works in Attila, avatar system would work..
    3)Larger , strategic maps.
    4) some capture builidng
    5) fix ******** failure. All guerilla units celts , fire horse archer ,tomehawk onagre , should remove some units..

    I'm easy, just bring the key buildings back -> more viable builds, strategies and maps.

    also if not a completely fleshed-out avatar system (due to different cultures and whatnot) at least the option to upgrade the general with different abilities divided into ability trees, just like S2.

    I'd like retainers too, absolutely not earned through random drops though, but I feel like with them balancing the game could become a nightmare. I could live without them if the game is close to balanced.

    I'd love to see back a game where winning comes from using strategy and terrain rather then depending on certain units to win it for you. My best example would be Napoleon, as the only rules in Napoleon basically are : no art max 5 lights. (In Shogun 2 there are a ton of rules for multiplayer to make it balanced.)

    A MP with balanced units with less stats. Winning by using terrain, using and creating momentum. In combination with some keybuildings on the map would be great.

    Bigger maps
    No veteran system (worse idea that CA has ever had)
    More viable playstyle thanks to a bigger unit and faction diversity (plus a better balance)

    Larger, more varied, competitive and beautiful maps.
    Remove or reveal all hidden bonuses.
    Simplified and rigid weight-class and weapon-type mechanics.
    Adhere to rock paper scissors and shotgun unit classes.
    Bring back key buildings.
    Bring back retainers, but not province specific and for gods sake no random drops.
    General ability tree with no General levelling.
    No avatar-type unit levelling. Stay with the chevrons.
    Remove some magic button abilities with a look to making them contextual.

    This. Napoleon was more about strategy and position, instead of who has the best troops because they've played more and how well they can micromanage.

    Biggest thing for me would be to make formations work - not just things like making shield wall something that requires you to be in a certain position, and actually looks like a shield wall, but also a system that takes unit depth into account, rather than supreme spaghetti lines.
