The same question for every new title launch: Pre Order a PHYSICAL COPY? (USA)

I just moved from cable internet to satellite. I do not see a USA physical disc copy available for preorder. I am sorry for asking, yet I'm not sorry, because I cant find an answer anywhere. I can actually play Rome and Atillia on my connection just fine, but downloading will suck up all my data in a few hours and the game wont be even half way done. Please help.

even when you buy a hard copy don't you need to download it via steam still ?

hopefully there will be a pre-load and you can download it overnight the day before or something.

cant remember if Attila had a pre-load but I know Rome 2 did so this game probably will.

You don't need to download via steam if you get a hard copy (though you may need to patch). Usually what the disc has if it's a steam game is a steam backup file.

Anyways, it doesn't look like they are bothering with a physical copy this time. Usually Amazon has a physical option if the company sells one but I don't see one for Warhammer.

That's not what I'm asking. I want a physical copy in the USA so I don't have to spend like 20 hours downloading the game over steam. I need a copy to load not using my internet. Can we pre order a physical copy of this game? I live in USA. I know there is a UK version but that doesn't help us or can we buy that copy?

I'd mail Amazon UK and ask if I were you. Think you'd get an answer faster that way. I can order a disc copy from there for a much lower price than in Sweden, but then I live in Sweden and are not allowed to by a digital copy, so might be possible. Can't hurt to ask anyway.

Well, I know I can buy a UK physical copy, but I need to know if I can even use it in the US. Sometimes companies region lock games to like US, Europe, Asia, etc. and there is no point in me spending the money to get a game that I can't run.

I would prefer to just buy it from Amazon US but for some reason we don't have the option.
