Hi folks,
I'm in the process of designing a game rig and part of plan is to upload vids of the gameplay onto YouTube.
As I'm pretty new to modern gaming (last time I was really into gaming was Half Life) and never uploaded a video to YT in my puff I have no idea what size files I'll generate when capturing my game play. I can't make a decision on storage without knowing how much I'll need to store.
So, how much memory is needed roughly per minute of captured gameplay ? Once I know that I can just scale it up.
Also, how much memory can I expect a typical half hour of video once edited, compiled etc and ready to upload take ?
I'll be doing everything in 1080p 60fps.
Any help, advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.
