The new Battlesounds for ToB are amazing!

Just came across this replay here (link below) which is without commentary so you can hear the gamesound quite well.
I just noticed the new sound effects in battles. The screams and the metal clang of weapons and the constant chanting of the units is just amazing.

Makes the battles a lot more epic imo.

    Agreed, it was necessary.

Those dialogues and weird screams of attila and rome 2 became annoying real quick.

Omg finally. Awesome. Yeah Julius, the stupid immersion breaking British Romans saying "THAT'S BARBARIANS FO YA.." and "THAT MAN IS ANNOYING! GOLD TO ANYONE WHO KILLS HIM!!" Over and over. Man that was annoying and dumb.

    Thanks for posting this.

Nice smooth scrolling, no commentary. Like it.

That map looks awesome, all the maps I've seen look excellent in fact.

    Campaign vid

edit: sound design seems top notch I agree, including the music.

In the first vid the song at 10:45 is possibly the best I have heard in a TW game so far! the campaign music is really nice as well. CA did a great job for sure!

    We need agressive music.

This is battle, not a play.

    We need Jeff Van Dyck.

Well the battlemusic I heard until now was quite good. Not as good as Duke of Death from Jeff but it was also quite percussion-heavy with a deep wardrum sound.

From what I heard, it's orchestra.
I don't want it to feel like a play, I want it to feel bloody with lively and fast beat music.

Pretty damn hard to top the shogun 2 OST

But I liked what I've heard.

Music=off for me. Immersion breaking. Battle was plagued by the sounds of yells and weapons, not music. There were no orchestra bands in the fields behind Saxons and Vikings hacking each other to death lmao. But I get why people like music. I just turn it off
