Launching Trouble with Total War Attila

I recently reset my computer and purposefully left out my second hard drive because I keep all of my games on it. I had set up my computer yesterday and noticed that Total War Attila was the only game not to work (ironically, I reset my computer because something was preventing me from playing Total War Attila). I followed all of SEGA's "Game crashes/won't work/launch: a list of solutions" and none of them worked. Conveniently enough, there is no dump file. To go into further detail, once I launch TWA it says running very briefly then says resyncing and nothing.
