hey friends, so I saw a couple of Threads made by @DarkLordD and I wanted to steal one of his potential ideas :)

so In this thread I want to know wich Legendary Lord is your favorite

THE MEAN AND MIGHTY RULEBOOK.

-You can choose a SINGLE Lord.
-It cannot be a generic lord, like blood dragon vampire for example.
-Do not pick for lore reasons( gameplay must be the first reason !)
-Units must be from the vanilla game and not buffed or modified by mods.

-Explain your deciwion its fun to read

So im going to start with my pick...

drums rolling !

and it is the Chivalrous King of Bretonnia, Louen Leoncoeur

I pick him because he is an absolute beast in combat. His mobility is absolutely incredible. His combat stats makes him so strong at killing other heroes in battle. His mount Beaquis is so cool, and it feels like having a loyal flying badass dog. His items and abilities makes him so strong in battle its crazy, His natural regen combined with the blessing of the lady makes him to tanky and hard to bring down. His Items and abilities such as the Lions shield, makes him so powerfull at turning engagements around by debuffing the enemy defensive stats, making hims invaluable in late game engagements. The fact that he is flying with a devastating charge makes him the perfect choice to lead a group of pegasus knights to attack the enemy walls during a siege.

Plus he is such a badass, taking down multiple blood dragons in the lore, killing the most powefull greater daemon of nurgle and leading the armies of Bretonnia to multiple victories. He is one of the greatest tactician and probably the most powerfull human warrior in the old world. But what makes him outstanding is that he is the exact representation of chivalry, some bretonnian knights or duke, might be douche, but he will always fight for the weak and good. I would follow this man in any battle !

For the King !

Enjoy the hard decision of choosing a SINGLE legendary lord !

Queek is best rat and best LL and if you say otherwise, he'll take your head so better keep it to yourself.

I don't know, Skrolk has the edge that his name sounds like a medical term for a testicle injury.

    Fay Enchantress

The Lady of the Lake is the principle Bretonnian deity, said to embody the pure, noble, courageous spirit for which the Kingdom is known. Her earthly representative is the Fay Enchantress, who watches over Bretonnia from her tower in Carcassonne and upon whose wise counsel King Louen depends.

I love how she defend her troops.

    Gameplay reasons only?

Vlad for me, powerful bonuses for sieges and on the field with vanguard deployment for armies.
Has access to regen too, so he is hard as hell to remove
unique landmarks in Drakenhof for campaign flavour
His slow and monotonous way of talking is just too funny as well.

All units with vanguard deployment can be crazy strong, allows your melee units to close the gaps quicker, suffering less ranged damage.

Granted, it's a really tough choice, I can see why you picked Louen, OP. He is at the top for me too, but there are just so many cool lords so it's hard to pick one.

Honorable mention: Isabella because she is Warhammer waifu

Tyrion, The Lord of Murder. He is a superiorly bred elf. And he murders.

He murders the patience of everyone around him with his tough guy act. In truth he watches Golden Girls every night.

Always been en undead fan but I was not a really big fan boy of Manny and Dad. Noctilus however strikes my fancy in so many ways.

Rides a giant with cannon arms, spell casting armored tank unit that is able to hold his own in melee, his starting position in my mind is one of the better ones. All that plus the pirate theme of it all. Just wish the vamp coast had a better line holder infantry. Sure they have the crabs and they work excellent in that role but a line of infantry always strikes my fancy more, an undead horde without my grave guards just feels like its missing something...

archeon 82% or without the sword of khaine a good 40% wardsave 25% missle and physical ressistance 162 armour and 118 MD

    tanks everything and kills anything

    snip

It's much easier and more fun to get engrossed in lore that takes itself seriously and tries to make sense within its own frame of reference.

the reason I prefer LOTR over warhammer fantasy and 40k

I am dutch so if you like to have a talk in dutch shoot me a PM :)

She looks so much better in this image than ingame :/

She would be a top pick for lore reasons, for not treating peasants like filth, a true idol for every commoner.

Every wrong is recorded. Every slight against us, page after page, ETCHED IN BLOOD! Clan Gunnisson! Karak Eight Peaks! JOSEF BUGMAN!"

CA hates the Empire confirmed. The FLC LL for the new Lord Pack is Gor-Rok. Meaning the Empire still hasn't gotten their FLC LL. And no, moving Balthasar Gelt from Reikland, where he should be, DOES NOT COUNT. If they wanted a LL in the Southern Empire: Marius Leitdorf of Averland or maybe Elspeth von Draken in Nuln...

Where is Boris Todbringer? Have you seen him?

GHAL MARAZ IS THE WEAPON OF THE SETTING! YET SOME BRETONNIAN SWORD IS MORE POTENT?! BUFF GHAL MARAZ IN SIGMAR'S NAME!

It's because he is a strong and independent elf who needs no wife! He only rents one from his king.

Malekith fosho. Warhammer Darth Vader and most powerful lord in the game. It changes for me though and right now my flavor of the month is Luthor Harkon. Love how he nonchalantly blows the enemies brains out on the battlefield
