Our good friend ItalianSparticus mentions that very thing at the 9:15 mark or so.

Vanilla Kroxigors are also having this issue. It's actually the reason why they underperform in combat, not because of their stats.

Not sure since it wasn't fixed by simply giving them more weapon reach in the weapon table. Probably a more fundamental issue tied to animation/model hitboxes...

That Helicopter arm of Nakai is ridiculous. Its like he doesn't have shoulder muscles or a rotator cuff. Like WTF....
Give us Doombull, Great Bray-Shaman, Wargor, and Tuskgor Chariot.

Remember, gunnery mobs with handcannons too have broken animations and CA doesn't really seem to care. It's basicaly "u bought it, now **** off"

I honestly find it fine. Yes, a bit ridicilous, but hey, diffirent physiology and stuff. It was probably Old Ones' plan to allow Kroxigors swing hilariously.

If you looked up close at Nakais charging attack animation, it is stupidely powerful. Firstly he hits a unit to the side of him, and then as he is plowing through a unit, swings his club sort of behind him from the opposite side.

Although that has always been an issue, due to the different sizes of these monsters they just seem to attack so differently. Tomb scorpion in particular is the worst offender for this, and the giant has suffered most from poor animations. It is really difficult to balance out all monsters.

There shouldn't be anything wrong with the splash attack animations for Nakai or Dread Saurians. Any issues with attacks not landing is likely to be that the hit chance roll resulted in a miss. With the base hit chance sitting at 35%, the likelihood of attacks missing is fairly high, especially against a target like Tyrion.
