Lord Level Casters

An ongoing issue is that lord level casters are often just as powerful casters as heroes. so why not do what tabletop did with some special characters and just give them better versions of the same spells. that summon summons a better unit that decays slower with better stats with more range, the missile does more damage has more range more accuracy, etc. you could do this AGAIN for legendary lords, giving them an increase to any spells they use over regular lords using that lore

Lord level casters require less skill points to get their spells and legendary lords often have absurdly more magic to play with. I think the current system works fine.

Lords don't need to be absurdly better than heroes.

They have that feature from the TT somewhat with the loremaster skill. People with the Loremaster skill in whatever lore they are a master of Buffs all the spells in the lore in general.

Doesn't really compensate for having so many more other things they need to spend skill points on. Spellcasting heroes can generally afford to spend pretty much everything on their spells skill tree, lords usually want to put something in the red and/or blue tree.

That said, it's worth noting that "lord" means something different in TWW than it did on tabletop. A "hero" spellcaster in TWW could in many cases just as easily be lord spellcaster that you have alongside the general rather than a low-level spellcaster.
