[Question] - Uploading Mods to Steam Workshop

Hey! So, the method I was told was basically thus - "Create a mod, put it in your data folder of the game, launch the game, go to the mod manager and there you can do it".

Only, I do such, and yet the mod manager detects nothing relevant in the data files. Is there anything particularly special about naming the mod files or the image for the mod? Does it need a suffix? '.img' or anything? Am I doing something else wrong?
"Raise them, Necromancer. Set brother against brother. Let's give our hosts something worthy of recording in their pathetic book of complaints, shall we?"
The Queen of Mysteries, on the Book of Grudges.

Her voice was as rustling silk. "In the darkness I dreamt of you, cousin."
"Hawk no longer. My wings are dust and bone. I crawl through time now, like an asp."
"You took my wings, Neferata. You made me crawl. Now I return the favour. Crawl, cousin. Crawl."

For ease of memory, if we're not talking about cavalry, everything the High Elves have is better than everything the Dark Elves have.

The way you did it should be correct. Does the mod file has the suffix .pack ?

It does. It seems that something in the tables themselves is preventing the upload specifically - it runs on my game perfectly.

I don't really know what else could be the problem. The mod manager is not working well at all. I have problems for myself to upload a mod and i'm getting strange error codes. What kind of mod do you want to upload?

So it isn't just us? Wonderful.

Its a stat tweak mod mostly. I had to rejig some tables, but it still doesn't want to do anything. Works fine on both Izzy's and my computers though. Very strange.

Yes very strange, we just want to upload free content for everyone. Maybe a more experienced modder can help us.

In order to upload a Warhammer mod to the workshop I believe it requires a thumbnail. I couldn't upload one I made a while back until I put in the thumbnail. Which is done by having a .png image with the same name as the .pack.

Well, part of the problem is that the mod wouldn't update, so Izzy took it down and couldn't upload it again. We had a functional .png file earlier, so I imagine it was still there.

Hrm. The base mod manager has been grumpy as ever, but I managed to update my mods to the workshop for the recent patch without problems, and they're all pretty simple. Not certain what could be causing it, especially if it works fine locally, and worked before so there's no usual thumbnail over 1MB size problem.
