Games versions differ from yours

Hey, me and a friend tried playing a rome 2 multiplayer campaign with the four turns per year mod but it when we try to join lobby it says that the game version differs, how can that be?

To be clear we are both only using the 1 and same mod, and playing on the same patch...

Please help us, we have no idea what too do now...?

    Are you both playing on PCs?

    Could you post both modified. logs, please.

    Sure, there is one called "mods.log" if thats the one you mean?
    there is also one called "modified"

    It was the modified one that I meant - the other one, but I'd need one from each of you to see if there is any difference.
