Arch is what Wheels tolds us he was.

Look for Arch warhammer discord leaks and you'll see.

Seems like a lot of effort, remembering two irrelevant internet trolls, but sure.

The problem with black jokes is hypersensitivity. You tell a pollock joke and no one gives a ****, including Pols, who may have created the pollock joke to begin with. The Germans certainly didn't create them all, they're just not that funny. You tell a black joke, that you probably stole from a black comedian, and suddenly you're a combination of Hitler and Dalmer. Blonde comedians tell blonde jokes too, there's a pattern there.

Comedians are often using themselves as the punching bag, loads of hilariously racist ****, and tragically accurate commentaries, are by the very same people being poked. Many a black comedians career has been built off worse than the average shitsack klanner would ever say in public.

So I'll pass on assuming someone is a racist over a few jokes, including ones I know are attributed to actual black comedians.

Nobody likes Arch-Warhammer, but Wheels did was incredibly idiotic. He caused a controversy that indirectly benefited Arch-Warhammer. In a very cowardly manner, he also caused problems for the company he just left. Stupidly enough, he also undermined his own career, because future employees can quickly discover that Wheels is an unreliable community manager, prone to insulting potential customers and lacking the necessary patience and self-control. In short, immaturity should never be praised.

@TheGreatPamphlet Has Whelan really left CA?

What was the issue between him and Arch?

His names is Wheels, I'm not sure if we are talking about the same guy. Wheels left the same day (which is why his action was cowardly, not brave) he called Arch-Warhammer a jerk or a ****, don't remember exactly. Arch-Warhammer is an alt-right Youtuber, who has generated several fake controversies, like that about the female generals of Rome II.

As much as I hate Arch-Warhammer (and seriously you guys need to go view the leaks... there is more then a few 'off-jokes' in there). His moderation team promote.. ermm - putting it the lightest way I can.... indecent material of the under aged.

Wheels was not in a position to do what he did though. I totally understand the urge - dear god it might have been frustrating having to put up with Arch's lies and abuse without biting back... but it wasn't professional. People in customer service around the world have to put up with obnoxious humanity in person every day - it just wasn't a smart move...

However I still like wheels and follow his content... but it wasn't good.

There is much much worse content in there... It wasn't a few jokes between friends, there was encouragement to commit violence towards minorities, holocaust revisionism, promotion of fascist ideals... and worse... it's bad.. real bad. By far though the worst thing I saw was Arch's closest friends and moderators encouraging (yes literally encouraging) the sexual exploitation of children. I can guarantee you if someone did a check on their computers they would find disturbing imagery... they damned well need to be investigated by the local authorities.

Except if you actually look into the discord tweets and leaks, they've all been debunked as either edgy humour, bad jokes, satire or people playing devil's advocate. Yes Arch is edgy, smug and has generally and off putting personality that means the majority of people including myself don't like him, but there is no actual evidence for racism as far as I've seen from the discord leaks, although I will agree with AxiosXiphos about some of his friends needing to be investigated for questionable sexual preferences.

Ultimately it wouldn't surprise me if it did indeed turn out Arch was racist but as it stands there is not enough evidence publically available as it stands (there may be more actually hidden in the discord which I have not seen). By exactly the same logic people call Arch racist you can point to majorkill, and legend of total war and call them both racist as well, Majorkill repeatedly said the n word in a video deliberately and legend of total war formed a swastika in a twitch stream. These things stem from a particularly toxic form of internet culture (trolling) where people deliberately do offensive things just to get a reaction but do not necessarily believe what they are saying.

Generally what Wheels did was not brave, but an unprofessional thing to do as a representative of a company to the public. As a rule of thumb its best for a company to avoid political interactions, because if you take a political stance you automatically reduce your target audience as its harder to appeal to the entire political spectrum. Sure you can argue that the company shouldn't be appealing to certain people like fascists, this then raises the following issue.

Who determines who's fascist? In modern culture too much do we see moderate conservatives and moderate liberals/socialist labelled as Fascist and Communist respectively simply because people on the radical ends of the political spectrum can have warped perspectives due to their position on that spectrum. If you have a far right wing moderator they're far more likely to label a moderate socialist/liberal as communist, whereas if you have a far left wing moderator they're far more likely to label a moderate conservative as fascist.

If your too aggressive with labelling and banning you'll eventually end up banning moderates/non extremists and damaging your own companies image. If your too lax you'll end up accidentally platforming people who are racists which in turn damages the companies public image. This is why so many companies are/where politically neutral as they do not have to enter into this minefield, where without perfect balance you inevitably end up just damaging your own public image.

    Disclaimer:
I've tried to remain fairly politically neutral in this thread but I apologise if it offends anyone that is not my intent.
All of the statements in the previous two paragraphs are general statements about company policy and do not refer to to any person specifically. If any moderator finds any of what I've said in violation of the terms of service, I apologise and will edit out that section immediately if made aware of it.
