Good tutorial for map editor

is there any chance we're going to get a clean, focused, tutorial from CA on the terry map editor? i feel like i'm using maybe half of what other people are able to use in terms of skills or even just items and i can't find anything to help me.
i still can't load a bunch of items or they load invisible.
i still can figure out how to set triggers for vfx.
can anyone help me out?
