Mino tech correction for Greenskins (possible bug?)

The Greenskins techs:

* 'EAVY METAL:
----- adds 10 Armour to all Orc infantry
----- adds 10% Weapon Strength to all Orc infantry

This includes Savage Orcs. Then, there are two cav buffs:

* BOAR RIDIN'
------ +10 Armor for Orc Boar Riders and Orc Boar Big 'Uns units
------ +10% Weapon Strength to all Orc Board Units

As a result, the Savage Orc infantry rises in armor from 0 to 10. On the the other hand, the Savage Boar Riders are obviously excluded from the armor bonus.

is this an oversight or intentional (10 armor granted as an at least bare minimum, for balance reasons)?

    Per the description, it's intentional... however there are powerful Savage Orc tech buffs the regular Orcs don't get.

    For what reason?

    I'd say its an omission. Earlier versions of the game didn't buff Savage Units at all; the armor and weapon strength for infantry, and charge bonus for Boar Riderz, was added only later.

    It is an omission that's true. An omission is something that is left out or excluded. If they wanted to give it to everyone they would have wrote it as all boar units, which they clearly did for the Weapon Strength as you wrote above.

    I also think that the Boar Boy Chariots could use the extra armor buff more than the Savage Orc Boar Boys, but yeah they could have done that but they didn't. It's an intentional omission.

    You might notice that some techs effect goblins and some effect goblins and night goblins. Some effect both. It depends on the tech and the buff within the tech.

    What makes you think it is intentional? Remember that originally, none of the buffs referred to the Savage counterparts.

    What is there to not understand? They had two opportunities and they didn't do it. Savage Orcs don't wear armor. It's not a glaring error

    The why do the ordinary Savage Orcs get the 0 -> 10 armor (along with all other infantry)?
