New Eonir models leaked?

Hello fellow Asuras and Asrai!

After the recent Eonir discussions I got curious and wanted to find out more about this mysterious new faction everyone is talking about right now. Didn’t know much about them before.

Surprisingly I found some amazing new models for the board game:

I know it’s AoS as the round base tells me but it clearly shows that GW has big plans for the Eomir. So it might be a confirmation that the Eonir will be added to the Warhammer?

These models look quite similar to the Artwork:

These models perfectly combine the elegance of the High Elves and the savagery of Forest Elves. Which is from my understanding of the knowledge exactly what the Eoner should be. They are a mix of High Elves and Forest Elves.

The Armour also fits since it has a northern flavour and Laurelorn Forest is in Nordland.

Does this mean the Eomer will be the 4th faction of Elves?

Sorry sir but you are clearly wrong. I was Googling „Eonir Warhammer“ and this is what I found. The picture also clearly says Warhammer Community.

GW makes LotR models. That's the Warhammer Community logo, it's where GW Drops its news.

No, Warhammer Community refers to everything GW related. That's why you'll find Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game news on the Warhammer Community part of the official GW website.

People really love misreading my comments, don't they? The miniatures you posted are for MEN. The Riiders of Rohan are MEN, not some filthy elves.

The fact that Eonir is never spelled the same way twice in the OP is attention to detail that I find exquisite. That and the usage of Asuras. Just like the source material.
