Tiktaq’to minor (incidental) buffs!

Hopefully this makes him a bit more fun and worthwhile to play, in both multiplayer and campaign. This was probably just due the the standardization of stats across the board (rounding the nearest multiple of 5). Thanks for the buffs CA!
  • Cost 900 to 800
  • Mask of Heavens
    • Melee defence 9 to 10
  • Blade of the Ancient Skies
    • Melee attack 16 to 15
    • Charge bonus 8% to 10%
    • Base weapon damage 18% to 20%
    • AP weapon damage 18% to 20%
Thoughts and prayers go out to the Ancient Salamander.

    You made me slightly more excited about my Liz"air"d force. I wonder if stalk would work on flying units.

    Ancient Sally is a better unit now.
    Request scorched body textures, poisoned dying animations for infantry's skeletons, a blood slider that allows us to control how much blood appears in battle and make proper death animations for all ethereal units so they vanish for Blood for the Blood God 3.

    Because of the cost reduction?

    I just noticed his leadership (60->65) and ammunition (18-20) went up too. The melee defense and charge bonus nerfs (on top of the existing nerfs) were a bit disheartening, it's already been nerfed to irrelevance.
    But yeah maybe the lower cost and increased ammunition could see it get more value from what seems to be the intended use of range sniping large entities (competing with the Troglodon now).

    I was always meant to be a ranged unit, the fact that it could function in melee was just a side-note, now it will hopefully be worth it's points to take.

    What he really needs in campaign is some more staying power. He melts far too fast. Most of the time I don't let him anywhere near melee for fear of looking away for a few seconds only to realize he's been killed.

    Yeah I like his faction abilities, but at least in campaign he should be stronger. I'm not sure why they didn't give him more buffs/abilities on his skill tree. Honestly he could use more staying power in multiplayer as well, a cheap lord is nice but he's just so squishy it's not worth losing your lord.

    Yeah you're right, I didn't realize the standardization stuff until after I posted :/
    Tiqtak'to will take what he gets, even if its incidental.
