Hello, ive been playing a Broken Axe vortex campaign over the past 2 days and I just got to the final battle, however all of my units are greyed out and I am unable to move or select them. The ally units attacked the fortress just fine, and I was able to use the Doom Driver Strike global ability you get during the fight, but I cannot select or move any of my units after hitting start battle. All of my units are greyed out, I hadnt played a Grom campaign yet so I thought maybe it was some kind of mechanic where you arrive late but I quickly realized this was just bugged. When looking this up all I found was a very recent, within the hour, post on reddit of another player encountering this bug which leads me to believe it was broken in the most recent update. Would love to be able to complete my campaign but it doesnt seem possible at the moment. Hope this gets addressed quick, thanks for your time.
I'm having the same bug. I got to the final battle last night and planned on finishing it tonight. However, every time I start the battle the cut scene goes and my army is greyed out.

Hey Guys!
I've passed this along to the team for further investigation, thanks for the report/save files!

Since this is the only quest battle I've seen this happen on I can only guess its a bug with some kind of interaction with the cutscene. Gonna have to wait for CA to fix it lol
This mod allows you to let the AI to take control of your army under normal circumstances. So, to unlock, after the opening speech, do not select any units and just hit SHIFT + F10. This will turn on AI and unlock the army. Then hit SHIFT + F9 to regain control.
Hello, I have a solution! At least, a partial one.
I grouped units, like in those 1,2,3,4 shortcuts, and i managed to control them (PARTIALLY)! YOU NEED TO GROUP THEM BEFORE YOU HIT START THE BATTLE!! Also, if the keys on the keyboard do not work, click on the group with the mouse. When you do this, you can actually move them, they dont always respond like you want them to, but most of the time they do. I also cycled the lock on top of the group when they didn't respond and it helped. Try grouping them in smaller groups, so you have better control, I only had two since i didn't know it was gonna work but still managed to beat it. Played on very hard/very hard, had 15 rouge idols and 2 heroes, Grom and some regiments of renown, got the job done easily. Really hope this helps people, I finished the campaign, I was very sad at first when this bug came about, but this got me through it and I didn't waste 9 hours on nothing.
Fixed an issue where in Grom’s Final Battle the player would be unable to control their units.
