Attila unplayable due to a crash on startup issue

isDeusisDeus Registered Users Posts: 1
Everytime I try to play the game it ends up crashing, not even letting me reach the main menu. This has been happening for weeks with no answer from CA.
I've reinstalled the game, deleted the Attila folder (AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Attila), I have tried to play with and without mods and the problem still persist.
I am not the only one with this problem, here is a steam forum post with tons of people having the same issue.

Please look into it, I understand Attila is not getting further support but this issue literally makes the game unplayable.

I spend years playign attila with no problem and a bit of time with ToB.
And out of nowhere im unable to play those games, sometimes it takes 10-15 crashes at launch to play those games

I've had issues also after some windows update. I've had to reinstall some of the older directx files these programs use several times. Sometimes a Steam file verify also works, but sometime it doesn't. GPU driver updates, or the lack, can also have an effect.
