A little nerf to the sisters of twilight

I think it would be nice if their projectiles could be blocked by shields actually making shielded characters a soft counter. Currently you can just stay with your anti large arrows and can still expect to kill most shielded foot characters between 2 to 3 minutes, add a waystalker in the mix and most wont make it to the frontline.

If you had the fact that this lord can't really be "counter-sniped" and has homing arrows that pierce infantry models (not cavalry and above though) you end up taking almost 0 risk while having a garanteed reward.
But is talking about what is appropriate to talk about in this thread appropriate to be talked about in this thread ?

I rather they get +75g on eagle (dragon cost stays as is now)

Remove 10% boost to dmg from ealge.

Being blocked by shields is pretty reasonable. They did the same thing to Wulfhart. Alith Anar is probably the only ranged character that should ignore shields because his bow is basically a bolt thrower

I have seen the Lady, my brothers. She came to me from the waters and told me of the trials to come. This is why I call you here, so that Her summons may be answered. I call Errantry, a crusade to strike at the heart of the new darkness"

If im not mistaken waystalker and gladys arrows also ignores shields so it would feel a bit awkward to nerf sisters that way. Also, if im not wrong, both types of ammo from sisters are considered artillery shots, which bypasses missile resistance and makes them so good at sniping characters. I think most people can agree that sisters need kind of a nerf, but it cant be too much or there will be no reason to pick them over the generic variants. I think +50 cost for them on both mounts could be fine, currently they are worth +250 cost over the generic lords on their mounts.

waystalkers dont ignore shield - its an interesting suggestion if WE ever need a buff though.

its an obvious nerf to sisters, maybe too obvious - and probably a bit heavy, its a massive damage nerf. Its basically on the level of suggesting they lose AP or get a heavy cost nerf.

Well you are mistaken on that, the only other range character who shoots arti shots is alith anar, glade lords and waystalkers arrows can be blocked by shields and sisters arrows apply the attacked by missile penalty.

Why more cost on dragon? Noone uses them on dragon ever

Biggest issue is the 10% dmg boost on eagle with cheaper cost

I’m also confused I’ve never seen dragon I tried it once it’s sorta useless without net though and primary fire might as well be a breath weapon vs infantry.

Probably you are right, not sure why but i think there was like a "special missile type" category were units like salamanders are, that ignores missile resistance. Think i remember to watch a video time ago that explained it and sister were also on that category.

We both know that if they are used less on dragon is not because its bad. If the premise is that their range damage is a bit too high, then it is a bit too high on dragon mount too, assuming that glady is properly costed.

Disagee with you, ofcourse they not bad on dragon but i think they balance don it as opposed to OP on eagle, hence target nerf ealge version. Its way easier to deal with the dragon version and their cost on it

Disagree. The eagle's speed, manouverability, smal hit box, etc, acts as a force multiplier for the ranged attack.
