Yes, because CA will confine the most expensive LL they have done to the less popular game mode of the game, not like they gave him his own faction and mechanics already...

Be'lakor will be in addition to Godslayer, giving DoC 2 LL.

They quite literally eliminated Be'lakor from being a playable LL in a game mode. Quite literally, they wrote the story in such a way to explicitly make him not an LL. They've turned characters who have all rights to be LLs into LHs. You think they won't eliminate LLs going forward? It is something that has been done consistently in Three Kingdoms, which admittedly has a historical sense, but them doing it isn't exactly unheard of.

Hell, I would welcome him being removed from the game completely, and his skins being turned into generic Daemon Princes for Monogods instead.

And then make Yuri into a Kislev LL(either playable startpos or recruitable). Because his design and characterization from before being taken by Chaos is at least serviceable.

His faction and mechanics are awful. Clearly a rushed afterthought.
Clearly you aren't part of the Dev team so you don't know any of that.

Not to mention that the amount of work they had to make for him is not something you do for an afterthought, the amount of resources poured just into the different parts he can get is simply way beyond what a normal LL would get.
They added him and gave him different skins. That's it. Oh, and I guess the allignment bs. Everything else is borrowed from other races. 4 full rosters taken from other races. All other mechanics taken from other races. Cities and buildings, perks and abilities. Aside from the Mary Sue's personal stuff, everything else was copy pasted. That's "way beyond normal" to you? No, it's that the only intricate and worked on thing about the faction is the LL, which is sad because the LL is just a normal Daemon Prince who has a large wardrobe. That's a far cry from a race with its own unique mechanics and all the other elements listed here. Oh, and a well balanced roster rather than just four different rosters stuck together without any semblance of sense.

I mean, look, if the only thing they did work on is the skins, then that's an easy way to get Daemon Princes for Monogods in, since we have the models because of him. Remove him and add those.
Furthermore, I consider that Daemon Prince must be removed.

Have to echo those that simply say they put to much effort into the DP, that's a lot of development time to make his assets and his programming and he was generally received well except for a few people that don't have a clue what Mary Sue means. Plus a prologue to give him the lead up of the story. He's just not going to be up and replaced on IE. When his general setup is still fine for sandboxy.

Belakor will probably just get an IE faction given that is a sandbox to do as you will.

    So both at some point.

I think it's considerably more likely that the DP is in the big campaign and Be'lakor gets completely sidelined or set up as a participant in the Chaos Invasion than what you're describing.
