Wooden fort? (from the Steam store page screenshots)

What on earth is this thing?

Looks like a wooden pallisade, which i've honestly never seen before. The fact there's infantry SCALING the things makes me want to know where i can find one.

Anyone come across this in game?

EDIT: huh, actually it looks like a normal castle with the walls replaced with a pallisade. Still want to know where i can find one of these!

    I'm guessing it is a pre release screen and they decided to change it.
    Could look a bit like a ROTS fort, but don't think men climb like that.
    I also don't recognize those spear cav with the Foreign Legion style hats?

    looks like the ROTS fort walls, and yes I'm pretty sure the men climb up them like that.

    That's Rise of the Samurai fort type walls. I don't think FoTS has wooden fortresses as they all start out at stone forts.

    A lot of the FOTS screenshots have things that are misleading, like certain screenshots of united states marines fighting Warrior Monks with Naginata's.
    It's all custom battles or multiplayer fights.
