  • This youtube video is a collection of recently played games, and the biggest concerning areas seem to be battles. Before I saw this, I already saw things that worried me, but now I'm wondering if Kingdoms is ready for launch. I say this all with t…
  • Seriously CA drop that nonsense, arrows don't a leave trail as they pass trough the air they are not rockets, frankly it looks silly, you had arrows figured out since Rome 1 why make them cartoony and unrealistic now? they ARE very distracting. T…
  • This video was brought up exactly the same way in another thread. With many of the issues explained in there. Yeah, we're kinda starting to see multiple threads on the same topics here. Can a moderator or admin maybe merge a couple of these tog…
  • Warhammer 3? An update for better optimization? A new game engine? It's probably none of those things, but that's all that would get me excited.
  • Observed the framerate on a 1070, and couldn't tell much of a difference between that and my 1060, both i7 7700 machines. Finally upgraded my 1060 to a Duke 1080 GTX and this made a considerable difference- it stays 50 to 60 on ultra @ 1440p, but d…
  • And of course a huge performance drop when blood is enabled. What a let down. You guys really gotta come up with a new game engine.
  • It's frustrating that even in update 2 of the allegiance update these issues are still here. These are things that were in previous TW games and issues like going up siege towers were fixed. Why they are even showing up now is ridiculous.
  • well I like it. I'd rather have factions actually declaring war than just sitting neutral, or they declare war and then the next turn ask for peace. This is the state of the grand campaign ai, at least playing as rome.
  • hold on... was it always like this or did the zoom range on the battle map just get doubled? Either way, the visual changes on battle and Campaign Maps are INSANE! this patch is a way bigger improvement than the power&politics one. I am absolute…
  • I have to agree 100%- I don't know why they insist on lighting being super bright- it looks horrible and washed out. Good news is, there is a REALLY good mod for this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1266710724 The Alternat…
  • latest patch notes don't even address any performance concerns for patch coming out tomorrow. Kinda feels like they're saying, "tough. Deal with it." I know it doesn't solve anything, but this is a great alternative. This mod changes the lighti…
  • I've noticed this too, but it was after the last update for me that I noticed it. It doesn't happen all the time, but when ending a battle there is a pause before I can press the end battle button.
  • There's been a couple posts about this. Apparently related to blood being turned on?
  • I've all but given up on fixing performance in TW games. This game engine is just horrible, but CA is sticking with it. I'm sure we'll see the same issues in three kingdoms when it comes out. Here is what has helped me: -2d portrait instead of 3…
  • I like that, too! Either way, there needs to be something to make it where spamming generals for the purpose of quickly taking over settlements isn't an option.
  • Ok some thoughts after playin a few campaigns over the last couple of days with this new update.. Lots of good changes in the patch notes but two things dont seem to have changed. difficulty in campaigns, very hard campaign and hard battles 1. t…
  • Someone else pointed out the issue in their post while playing as East Engle- they don't have enough food to create units and is swamped by enemies from the beginning. So I think that solves that mystery.
  • This would explain why they lose so quickly playing as west Seaxe.
  • It's funny, because I never notice the impact of corruption- It seems too easy to still make money and not be impacted by corruption.
  • How many units of theirs did you kill? As it's early game, I could see them having only about one stacks worth in their pool It was their first army, so I think 6 to 8. That wasn't the problem, though- it's that East Engle still had all their ter…
  • thumbs up to this!
  • Yeah, I get that... but it IS on VH, and even if west seaxe is easy, east engle should be building armies, but they aren't. They were wiped out in 20 turns. I will test other factions... but it seems like there is an issue with army/unit recruitme…
  • Second this- every siege battle is an auto resolve, which is a shame since there's some awesome siege landscapes here.
  • amen to that... although I get a feeling it's too late. That was one of my favorite features of WH2.
  • just figured out the estates! That fixed it. Thanks!
  • I didn't even catch the news that they removed the ambush stance. What was the reasoning?
  • I hate to say it, but I'm with you on this one. They really dropped the ball on Attila performance. Was really hoping they would have fixed it by now. Interestingly they chose to use the same engine for Thrones of Britannia, their upcoming titl…
  • This mod fixes the fps issue on the campaign map- it tilts the view so not as much is rendered. I recommend it if you're getting a lot of dips in framerate, particularly as the map expands later in the game. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f…
  • yes, looks like the good old Total War CPU/RAM bottleneck when u zoom in close to a lot of units. I am monitoring this problem since Shogun 2 times, and although it has actually been somewhat improved since the Warhammer games (in Attila it really …
  • Cant see this working. If this worked ca would be forcing it by default... Placebo effect 100% You might be right. I did a lot of custom battle testing, and I don't know why, but custom battles run flawlessly compared to battles in the campaign…
