Contrary to what some modders try to sell you AI is NOT really moddable.
What can be done is adjust the parameters, for example make some units more or less desirable, to increase the chance that the AI recruit them.
But it's not possible to change…
I'm using both in my mod. I think it helps making army more lore friendly, and make the stronger units more interesting.
I just hope CA patches the UI and activate the UI counter for other factions than Tomb King
